The Crystal Eagle is the most prestigious award given by the Eagle of Nice. It takes place only every 4 years. This prize was founded by Alain Bideaux and has for vocation to be the supreme reward reserved to our Artists Laureates since the creation of the traditional International Nice Eagle in 1988 to surpass themselves and become the champion of the champions of the Plastic Artists.

This high level event takes place every 4 years, a bit like the "Artistic Olympic Games". The theme of the 2022 edition was: Ecology

The winner of this 7th edition is the painter Jacques Vallero

The presentation of the Crystal Eagle was given to Jacques Vallero by Evelyne Doublet, Aigle de Nice de Cristal 2018, in the presence of Mr. Auguste Verola, Vice President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council representing President Charles-Ange Ginesy

The theme to be treated was difficult, whether it was a painting or a sculpture. The choice of the Jury, also, was hard to designate a winner as the Artists were all talented.

The Selection Committee of the Jury was composed of professionals in judging the works by scoring the points for the final ranking.

Who made up this Jury?

Alain Benedetto, Godfather and President (Painter); Pari Ravan, Godmother and sculptor-painter; André Poissy, Crystal Eagle 2014, Sculptor Painter; Thierry Arzens and Daniel Curzy, Journalists; Christian Brizion, Gallery owner.

Jacques Vallero has largely won with 480 points in front of Cécile Pardigon, Painter, with 350 points; In 3rd position Nathalie Matheudi, Sculptor, with 320 points.

Were present, Evelyne Grezes, Vice-President of the organizing Association, and many Artists and people in love with Art.
